FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- What materials should I expect to have after my recording session?
You should expect to have the raw tracks of whatever you recorded (instruments or vocals).
What is a raw track?
A raw track is a digital audio file without any effect or processing (like equalization, auto-tune, reverb or compression, for instance).
I booked for a 2 hours recording session. If I don’t use all the time of my session should I still pay for 2 hours?
Yes, when you booked for 2 hours this means that the recording engineer will be available for 2 hours to record you. So, regardless if you recorded only one song in 15 minutes or 4 songs in 2 hours you will still have to pay for 2 hours.
If I don’t use all of my recording time for my recording session can you use the remaining time to make my song sound good for a digital release?
Unfortunatelly not. A recording session is ONLY for recording purposes. At the end of the session you should expect to have only the raw tracks that you recorded (as explained above). In case you need your song and vocals to sound treated and ready for a digital release you should expect to pay for Mixing and Mastering services as well. In case you need these extra services, ask us for a quote by the moment you book your appointment, since the price may vary depending on the type of material that you are recording.
What gear is included in a rehearsal session?
